The Lily has a six-month opening for a multiplatform editor from February to August 2019.

The role requires a well-rounded journalist with strong editing skills and proven news judgment who can spot trends and stories. In addition to, we publish two weekly newsletters and maintain a significant presence on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Flipboard and Apple News. The ideal candidate can adapt storytelling to different platforms and will have innovative ideas about how The Lily can evolve.

Responsibilities include story production, writing social copy, managing Lily’s online site and working with freelancers. We want someone who is grounded in traditional journalism values but who can think beyond conventional story forms. The ability to move quickly, be flexible and work in a highly collaborative environment is essential.
