Learning to face and understand your anxiety can be challenging. Some days feel fine. Other days can feel suffocating or debilitating, especially if you have more than one type of anxiety. While cooking recently, I stared down at my knife and the onion I was chopping; my eyes were full of tears. I went to grab my swimming goggles to finish dicing when I realized that an onion can be a metaphor for my anxiety.
