It is a challenging time to be a woman. It always has been. Let’s change that.

This election, let’s change our apathy toward politics. Our votes affect real lives, and yet alarmingly few of us turn out to the polls. As the daughter of a refugee and a woman of color, I want to remind you: Your rights as a human being are not guaranteed. They were hard won, and they can be easily taken away. We must continue to fight for these rights and for the rights of others. We must vote. It is regular men and women like us who will shape history.

These are the real women in my life who are counting on my vote and yours. This is who I’m voting for on Nov. 6.

Who are you voting for?
