My daughter seems to be an extrovert, so I was concerned about how the pandemic was going to affect her. At first, it seemed like she was handling it fine, but a few months in, she broke down crying after I wouldn’t let her hug a neighbor kid on our walk. In between tears, she explained that she missed her school, friends and hugging Snoopy at the local amusement park. But since then, she has adjusted; despite the covid-19 restrictions, she still finds ways to be social.
