As an adult, there’s no scheduled time to see your friends or even make new ones like there was when we were kids. There’s no recess or dorm meeting. We’re all living busy lives separate from one another, which makes the little moments between us all the more important. The good and bad times, small gestures and understanding have been the pillars of maintaining my friendships as an adult.
