When I was growing up, I took athletics seriously. I believed a workout didn’t count unless I pushed my limits. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I became more forgiving of different ways of staying active. Embracing this actually led me to not only exercising more, but also enjoying activity more than I have in the past.
