In the last few years, my home has become densely populated by plants. I’m not alone: There’s evidence that millennials are quickly taking over the houseplant market. There are many theories as to why — health benefits, child proxies — but I think it’s as simple as caring for something and feeling satisfied to see it thrive. That said, my partner has banned me from buying any more plants. It’s beginning to look like a jungle in here.
