At a young age, cartoonist Dami Lee was trying to figure out life in a new place. Originally from South Korea, Lee moved to Texas with her family when she was 6. She had to learn English and pick up on American customs that were foreign to her, like the tooth fairy.
In school, she also attempted to grasp a concept many learn through trial and error: flirting.
