Since the pandemic started, the vulnerability of Black lives has become magnified. The police killings of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Tony McDade and others, combined with the disproportionate number of people of color dying of covid-19, has been overwhelming for me. Amid it all, I have found a sense of safety and care through my connections with other Black women.
